Tom Hennessey

Founder and president of TGH Safety Consulting Inc. has worked in the petrochemical industry for the past thirty-four years.  He has experience as a plant operator, plant safety specialist and since 1995 as an independent safety consultant to both industry and construction related business. Tom helped build and develop the local Education Cooperative and designed and taught many of the existing programs. Tom is a professional member of the Canadian Society of Safety Engineering and has been a safety specialist for twenty-five years. He has designed and implemented many safety training programs used in the area today.  Tom’s greatest strength is in working with people at all levels of any organization to maximize their resources.Tom’s energy in the classroom transcends all others and it is said his energy can be felt in the building next door. Terry Bathe  Safety Specialist

Terry worked at a local petrochemical plant for 33 years and held many of the positions while there. Terry was lead Safety Specialist for a new plant construction during all phases of the build and has been in the petrochemical business for almost 40 years.Terry has a good background in safety and is presently involved in permit writing and gas testing for local construction

John Hennessey- Safety Specialist

John has worked in the construction industry for 6 years. He has been with the company for one year now and is currently working as safety specialist for the company, John has a good background in the hydro excavation industry.

Stephanie Vandevenne – Safety Specialist/ Certified Occupational Health Nurse

Stephanie has experience in hospital, emergency and medical services.  She has worked as occupational nurse for several years. Stephanie has been very instrumental in developing safety programs for new plant construction from the ground up. Stephanie has had dual roles between plant safety and occupational health. Stephanie is presently involved in a large new plant performing services in both her areas of expertise.

Kathy Ure – RPN

Kathy has an extensive background in the medical field.  She was recently involved in a major new plant build with great success. Kathy does both Occupational nursing and Safety and excels in both fields

Pam Allen-  Safety Specialist/ CPR, AED Trainer/ Respirator Fit

Pam has extensive experience in the petrochemical industry. She has worked in both Industry and Construction. Pam is an exceptional instructor and has a broad base in her training history. Pam excels working with people and has many successes to her credit. Pam is presently doing:

· First Aid CPR and AED Training

· Respirator Fit testing and Training

· WHMIS Training

Jon Bennett- Safety Specialist/ High Angle Rescue

Jon has been in the construction for the past five years. Jon was an active volunteer fire fighter and was very active on the high angle team. Jon has been an instructor for the past five years and is a very good trainer. He has been training workers in High Angle Rescue. Confined Space Rescue and Roof rescue for the past three years. Jon also is a trainer for:

Michael Belton- Safety Specialist

Mike has 30 years in the Petrochemical Industry. Mike has been a Onsite Safety Specialist for the past two years and has been very active in Gas Testing and permit writing.

Michele Elliott- Nursing Services

Michele has an extensive background in the medical field.  She has been  involved in a major new plant build with great success. Michele does both Occupational nursing and Safety and excels in both fields

Crystal Hennessey- Office Manager

Crystal is in-charge of all travel and communication for the business, as well as book keeping and organization. Crystal's Degree is in Hospitality and Tourism Management.

Mark Miller- High Angle / Confined Space Rescue

Mark a graduate of the fire course at the College. He has been working in the rescue field for the last year and has been involved in two large projects in the Toronto area.

Doug Foubister - Safety Specialist

Doug has an extensive background in both Industry and Construction. Doug has managed two large new construction builds with excellent success. Doug has excellent communication skills and enjoys all challenges sent his way.

Todd Konrad- Safety Specialist

Todd has worked in the construction for the last three years and has had much success. Todd has run projects in Toronto, Winnipeg and Regina and enjoys the On Site Safety Specialist job.

John Krale- Safety Specialist

John has worked in the local Construction for many years. A seasoned veteran who has been on countless new builds as well as many turn arounds. John has 31 years of working in a local petrochemical plant in maintenance, project, and technical work. John’s strength is his interpersonal skills

Wayne Teft- Safety Specialist

Wayne has been on a job for the last three years in the petrochemical industry. Wayne is truly a jack of all trades and does it all.

Beth Moran- Nursing Services

Beth has an extensive background in the medical field.  She has been involved in a major new plant build with great success. Beth does both Occupational nursing and Safety and excels in both fields

Jeff Patterson- Safety Specialist

Jeff has a background in Health and Safety in major plants in the Sarnia area. Jeff has been in the construction field for the last 10 years. Over the last five years Jeff has worked on major projects in Ottawa, Toronto, Saskatchewan, BC and Alberta. Jeff also instructs:
